NASCAR driver Ben Rhodes brings weekly TV show to Passport’s offices for this week’s special episode

Every week, Ben and WHAS-TV Sports Anchor Kent Spencer of co-host the television show “On Track with Ben Rhodes,” talking about NASCAR, Kentucky, and other issues that are relevant to his life and work.

Passport is the official sponsor of the show’s “Ask Ben” segment, and the show came to the Passport office in Louisville to film this week’s episode. Passport Communications Director Michael Rabkin is the special guest on the show, talking all about healthcare and different things that people can do to get and stay healthy.

The show airs on Saturday, April 2, on WBKI-34 at noon, or you can go online to benrhodes.com to watch this week’s episode after it airs.

Passport sponsors “Trick or Treat Meet and Greet” with NASCAR driver Ben Rhodes in Prestonsburg

Trick or TreatPassport Health Plan is holding a special “Trick or Treat Meet and Greet” with NASCAR driver Ben Rhodes, the Kentucky native who drives the #88 Alpha Energy Solutions Chevrolet, on Saturday, October 31, in Prestonsburg.

The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. outside the Passport office in the Prestonsburg Village Shopping Center, near the Walmart, Big Lots, and Goodwill.

Kids (and adults) are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to get an autograph and a picture with Ben, along with some special Halloween treats!

Ben is part of the JR Motorsports (JRM) organization, which cultivates young drivers on the path to NASCAR success. JRM is co-owned by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., his sister Kelley Earnhardt Miller, and Rick Hendrick. He has competed in nine XFINITY races in 2015, with his 10th and final race of the season coming on Saturday, November 14, in Miami. Passport is Out and About at the Kentucky State Fair – Stop by and Say Hi!

logoThe Kentucky State Fair in Louisville started August 20 and runs through August 30, and Passport is out and about for the entire run, so come out and see us!

The Alpha Energy Solutions No. 88 Chevrolet show car driven by NASCAR Xfinity Series Ben Rhodes is currently on display, and Ben himself will be in the booth on Tuesday, August 25, from 5 to 7 p.m., meeting fans and signing autographs!

NASCAR Driver Ben Rhodes Shares What He Has Learned About the Importance of a Healthy Lifestyle

Ben RhodesBen Rhodes, who knew at a tender age that he wanted to become a professional NASCAR driver, was just 14 when he learned first-hand the importance of keeping fit and eating right.

The Louisville native was competing in his first stock car race. It was a huge step up from the Legends circuit he’d dominated the previous year. When he got out of the car, he wasn’t feeling well.

“I just got so sick and I was tired, exhausted,” he said. “It just wore me out. I realized what I needed to do and how I needed to eat.”

Passport Partners with Ben Rhodes to Drive Improvements in Health Across Kentucky

Ben RhodesPassport Health Plan has officially joined the world of auto racing, signing on as one of the sponsors of Louisville native Ben Rhodes, driver of the #88 Alpha Energy Solutions Chevrolet in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Ben, a recent graduate of Holy Cross High School in Louisville, finished in seventh place in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Iowa Speedway on May 17. He is expected to compete in 10 Xfinity races in 2015, with his next race coming on Saturday, June 20, in Chicago. He is also expected to race at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta on Sept. 26.
